I chose a career in Rheumatology because I enjoy the challenge of diagnosing and managing complex, chronic medical conditions. I am inspired by the constant evolution of knowledge that drives the field of Rheumatology and am intrigued that rheumatic diseases leave no organ system untouched. Most importantly, I appreciate that a career in Rheumatology will allow me to develop meaningful, long-standing relationships with my patients and their families. I also enjoy teaching and fostering a multidisciplinary, team-based approach to patient care.
