Description
I am an adult inpatient and outpatient psychiatrist in the UNC Department of Psychiatry. I focus on Latino mental health and work in partnership with El Futuro in Durham, North Carolina to develop telepsychiatry programs to reach patients in rural areas. I also have interest in rural health and developmental disabilities and am working with the department to develop a rural education track to help expand access to areas of North Carolina that do not have access to mental healthcare. I am active in geriatric psychiatry care in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
