I have always been fascinated by science and motivated by the opportunity to help people feel better and live healthier lives. Dermatology drew me in because it combines careful observation, hands-on problem solving, the chance to make an immediate difference in my patients’ lives, and an opportunity to add to our understanding of diseases and treatments to advance care for all patients with skin disease. My approach to patient care is grounded in evidence-based medicine, a deep curiosity about unanswered clinical questions and a commitment to advancing knowledge in the field. I strive to personalize care for each individual, integrating science, clinical experience and compassion to achieve the best possible outcomes. I have chosen to practice in an academic medical center because it allows me to teach the next generation of physicians while contributing to research that shapes the future of dermatologic care. My areas of interest include melanoma, skin cancer and psoriasis. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, running, cooking and traveling. These interests help me stay active and keep a healthy balance, and I love discovering new flavors and places along the way.
