I grew up in Greensboro and attended Davidson College (go ‘Cats!) where I majored in History. After college, I worked with the Carolinas Hospice Program in Greensboro as a research assistant and outreach coordinator. As a medical student at UNC, I have been actively involved in research, including work to evaluate the effects of aging on clinical outcomes in patients receiving genotype driven PZY12 inhibitor selection after PCI and a tech-based weight management intervention in older adults. I have been actively involved with the SNMA, served as the VP for the Graham research society, and worked as the Director for care management for the SHAC student clinic. In recognition of outstanding compassion and clinical skills, I was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. My interests include ASL, history and birdwatching.
