  Mandy Ghaffarpour DDS

  A comprehensive dental care can dramatically improve the quality of life and patients self confidence. I am proud to provide the best oral health care possible to my patients. Dr. Mandy Ghaffarpour (Dr. G) is a comprehensive cosmetic and family dentist who has a passion for keeping her patients and their smiles happy and healthy. Her professional mission statement is simply to take great care of great people from simple exam to complete smile make over. Dr. G places the utmost importance on providing proper dental treatment in term of both form and function. Dr. G also prides herself on first being a friend and personal advocate, not just your dentist. Dr. G received her Bachelor degree with honors in biology and chemistry from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Prior to dental school Dr. G performed research and has been published on total hip replacement prosthesis with famed Dr. Charles A Engh of Anderson Orthopedic Research Institute, She returned to University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Ghaffarpour is currently a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. G currently is Adjunct Assistant Professor in Department of Operative Dentistry in the School of Dentistry at the UNC Chapel Hill. Dr. G is married and has an 16 year old girl, Ariana.

  Scott R. Hardin, DDS

  Scott R. Hardin, DDS

  Dr. Scott R. Hardin, DDS is a native North Carolinian who was drawn to dentistry by the desire to combine his interests in science and helping others. Dr. Hardin’s mission is to provide patients with a relaxed, open atmosphere where they can work with the dental team to reach their common goal of a healthy smile. He was raised in Gastonia, NC, and graduated magna cum laude from North Carolina State University with a degree in Environmental Engineering. Dr Hardin then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received his DDS in 2004. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Durham-Orange county dental society. Dr. Hardin lives in Chapel Hill with his wife, Annelise, and their two children Will and Charlotte. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Hardin enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music or being outside hiking, rock climbing or surfing. He is an active member of University United Methodist Church in Chapel Hill.

  Steven M. Hart, DMD

  Steven M. Hart, DMD

  Dr. Steve Hart received his degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston and has practiced full time in Chapel Hill since 1982. Dr. Hart teaches advanced courses to practicing dentists throughout the world who travel to the prestigious L.D. Pankey Dental Institute in Florida to continue their professional development. Dr. Hart is committed to practicing state-of-the-art dentistry. He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinctive honor for dentists, and is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, American Equilibration Society, and the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics. In 1986 he was a co-founder and President of the Triangle Temporomandibular Disorders Study Group. He teaches and has lectured at the UNC School of Dentistry and is highly active in continuing education.
